Update the Cardboard browser extension

The browser extension is automatically updated by the browser, and is usually up to date. However, in some cases we see that it takes a long time. The following steps let you force an immediate update of the browser extension.

Update extension in Chrome

1. Open the extensions menu, found to the right of the address bar in Chrome.
2. Find the Cardboard extension, click the ⋮(vertical dots) menu, and click "Manage extension".
3. In the top right corner toggle on "Developer mode".
4. On the top of the page there is now a button "Update". Click it and the extension will be updated.
